Trent Alexander-Arnold has moved on to pastures new yet his name still keeps getting brought up.
The Reds’ title defence is underway and for the first time since 2016, they are doing so without Alexander-Arnold in their squad.
The scouser departed for Real Madrid in a move that, understandably, upset a lot of fans and tarnished the legacy that he spent so much time building.
However, there is no denying his talent and what Liverpool will now miss this season, with the right-back bringing things to the team that nobody else in the world is capable of.
And, despite there perhaps being a bit of bad blood between him and the fans, his former teammate Alexis Mac Allister has recently made a claim about him, and it shows exactly why he will be missed this season.

One issue with ‘Trent’s’ game was always his defensive vulnerabilities, with this an area other teams, and rival fans for that matter, would often target.

This can be proven on the eye but also via statistics, with the Englishman the highest-assisting defender in Premier League history with 64.
Andy Robertson is just four behind him, though, and based on how competitive the pair were, it would be no surprise to see the Scotsman break that record this season.
‘Trent’ truly was one of a kind and he is almost irreplaceable, although Jeremie Frimpong will do his very best to ensure that he will not be missed too much.
Although he still has good crossing ability, as shown in Liverpool’s pre-season game against Yokohama F.
Marinos, he offers something a lot different.
Rather than breaking the lines with a pinpoint pass, Frimpong will use his pace to bomb up and down the wing, overlapping Mohamed Salah as often as possible.
This is to overload the opposing left-back to then create a one vs one situation, something Frimpong will back himself to win every time.
It is definitely a big change but it might be a needed one for unpredictability, with the Dutchman certainly having big boots to fill.
