Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister sent a heartfelt message to a departing teammate following confirmation of his exit from the club.
The Reds have undergone major changes this summer, with Arne Slot leading a rebuild after winning the Premier League title in his first season in charge.
They have been busy in the market, with Liverpool breaking their club record to sign Florian Wirtz, as well as bringing in Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong, while continuing talks with Alexander Isak.
But alongside the high-profile arrivals, there have been significant departures to balance the books.
Luis Diaz has completed a move to Bayern Munich, Trent Alexander-Arnold has joined Real Madrid, and most recently Darwin Nunez sealed a switch to Al-Hilal.
With Nunez’s move confirmed, Mac Allister paid tribute to the Uruguayan forward, marking the end of their time together at Anfield.

Mac Allister posted a photo on his Instagram story alongside Nunez, sharing a heartfelt message following the striker’s confirmed move to Al-Hilal.
He wrote: “I’m really going to miss our talks, mates, roasts, and your craziness.
I wish you all the best and much success in this new stage.”

Football Insider revealed that Nunez had pushed for a Liverpool exit this summer, having previously been denied a transfer in January.
Under new boss Slot, the Uruguayan faced an uncertain role, starting just eight Premier League matches and scoring only seven goals across all competitions last season.
He joined Liverpool from Benfica for £64million three years ago, but the club have now taken an £18million loss on the forward.
However, Liverpool were prepared to accept a cut-price deal for Nunez to move him on as they step up their pursuit of Isak.

With several high-profile departures already confirmed, the Reds are still open to more outgoings before the window closes.
Football Insider revealed that Liverpool are ready to accept offers for left-back Kostas Tsimikas in the final weeks of the summer window.
The arrival of Milos Kerkez and Andy Robertson’s expected stay has pushed Tsimikas further down the pecking order, having already played a rotational role.
Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have both expressed interest in Tsimikas, but it remains to be seen whether either club will meet Liverpool’s asking price.
