Alexis Mac Allister has claimed that Mohamed Salah and Kostas Tsimikas are the strongest players in the Liverpool squad - overlooking Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk. But it wasn't all good news for the 'Greek Scouser' - with Mac Allister jokingly branding him the "most annoying" too.

Tsimikas, however, is a surprise shout from the Argentine - especially with the Red boasting imposing figures like Van Dijk and Konate in their squad. When asked by Goal.com about the Reds' strongest player to face in training, Mac Allister replied: “I would say Mo [Salah], or [Kostas] Tsimikas." "He’s all day in the gym," added Mac Allister of Salah.



On Saturday at Molineux, though, Mac Allister endured the most difficult afternoon of his Reds career to date as he was substituted at half time with Liverpool trailing Wolverhampton Wanderers.
