Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister dispatched a message to Arsenal’s newest signing after their fiery battle during the international break.
Mac Allister has had a stop-start opening to the season with an injury keeping him out of Liverpool’s victory over Newcastle but he returned to the side in their win against Arsenal.
While he was substituted off during the win, Argentina still decided to call the midfielder up during the latest World Cup qualifiers.
Mac Allister started in Argentina’s loss to Ecuador in the final game of the international break in a 1-0 defeat.
Despite international duty already coming to a close, the midfielder posted footage of a heated moment from the game involving Arsenal’s latest recruit in his latest post, drawing reactions on social media.
The Argentina midfielder posted footage of himself squaring up to Arsenal new man Piero Hincapie during the side’s loss to Ecuador.
He posted a caption alongside the video that read: “You are not like that” with a sword and laughing emoji.
Hincapie responded in jest in his own message in the comments to say: “How do you like it?”

Other players also shared a reaction to the video, with former teammate Tyler Morton saying “Go on Macca” and Curtis Jones commenting with a laughing emoji.
While Hincapie celebrated Ecuador’s win on his own Instagram post, the tie ultimately held little bearing on qualification as both sides have already qualified for the World Cup.
Hincapie joined Arsenal on deadline day on a loan deal with an option to buy, but missed out on the clash against Liverpool, which was played a day earlier.
Now, both players prepare for the return to club football, with Liverpool travelling to Burnley and Arsenal facing Nottingham Forest.

While Liverpool had a busy transfer window, the speculation continues to mount regarding Ibrahima Konate.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid feel close to a verbal agreement for Konate, who has entered the final few months of his contract.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Konate is edging closer to agreeing to leave Liverpool as contract talks continue to stall.
