Liverpool are currently training for their final game of their pre-season tour of Asia.
The Reds are just under a month away from beginning their title defence and players are trying to work their way up to full fitness ahead of what should be an exciting season.
Many new players have arrived and a few players are still expected to depart, but overall, the quality of options at Arne Slot’s disposal has increased significantly.
Jeremie Frimpong is just one player who has come in and impressed with his performances, with the Dutchman having the tricky task of replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
So far, he has shown promise, and behind the scenes, Alexis Mac Allister has revealed that he has noticed something about the right-back that will only help propel the team forward.

Unfortunately for Mac Allister, he has only been able to watch from afar during pre-season so far due to an injury, although he is now back in training.
However, this means he has been able to sit back and watch the new signings at work, suggesting he has picked up on things that fans are unable to see.
One of these is Frimpong’s infectious energy, with the Argentine believing that he, alongside the other new signings, has been a great addition.

“It’s amazing.
“I think we’ve made great additions to the team, they are showing in every single training [session] how good they are,” Mac Allister told Liverpoolfc.com.

“We are really happy with that.
I’m pretty sure that this will be a very good season for us.
“They brought new energy, good energy, especially Jeremie!
They are always smiling, you can see how happy they are to be here and hopefully they can help us to win more titles.”
Frimpong is yet to start a game in pre-season, but he could get this chance against Yokohama F.
Many expected Frimpong to come in, replace Alexander-Arnold and be Liverpool’s first-choice right-back for years to come.
It will not be this simple.
So far, Bradley has got the nod in this position, with the Dutchman coming on as a right winger instead, like he did against Milan.
Frimpong impressed Liverpool fans during this game, but Slot’s selection may suggest that he prefers Bradley instead.
Of course, the Northern Irishman can be unreliable at points due to his injury issues, meaning Frimpong will likely start some games at certain points, but Bradley will not simply just roll over and accept this.
