The Brazil international revealed last year that he rejected a big-money move to Saudi Arabia to commit to the new era under Arne Slot.
That proved to be a wise decision as Slot led Liverpool to Premier League title glory.
However, now the dust has started to settle on a memorable campaign, speculation has once again returned, with the 32-year-old now being linked with a move to Turkey.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Galatasaray made a concrete enquiry to the former AS Roma star as they continue their search for a new goalkeeper.

However, in the same report, it is claimed that Alisson, who joined the Reds back in the summer of 2018 for £65million and has a year left on his contract, has rejected the offer.
And it is easy to understand just why the Brazilian might have done that, given that only last week he revealed that he expects the Premier League champions to extend his contract by an additional year as a result of a clause in it.
Alisson, who has so far made 298 appearances for the Reds, revealed: “I’ve never been able to plan long-term.
Obviously now I have one year left on my contract and another year of club option, which they will probably exercise.”

Speaking in an interview in which he confirmed he was approached by the Saudi Pro League last summer, the goalkeeper revealed he wanted to honour his contract with the Reds.
“I have a contract and I want to honour my contract and finish my contract here or make a new one,” he said.
I am really focused on the things we have here at Liverpool and while I still have my contract here, I will be focused here.
"If it is in the interest of the club to negotiate [for] me, then it will be a different conversation.
At this time, at this window that we have, I am focused on my job here and my life in Liverpool.”
While speaking back in May, Liverpool goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel said he does not expect the Brazil No 1 to want to leave the Reds - even though Giorgi Mamardashvili will move to Anfield from Valencia this summer.
"Ali wants to continue living this story,” he said.
“I saw that this wave of Saudi Arabia come with great opportunities, very high offers.
“But he always says: 'Wow, I want to continue this story because I owe a lot to them here, and I want to continue this life here'.
