Former Premier League manager Tim Sherwood has claimed that Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya is "up there with Alisson" with the pair by far and away the best in their position in the country.
Raya was a key man for Arsenal as it won 1-0 against Manchester United at the weekend and that prompted Sherwood into suggesting that the Spaniard is on a par with his Liverpool counterpart.
"Raya is right up there with Alisson as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League," Sherwood told Bet Brain.
I believe him and Alisson are out there on their own as the best keepers in the division."
Liverpool signed Alisson from AS Roma in 2018 for what was then a world-record fee.

On the opening day of the new Premier League season, Alisson was beaten twice by Antoine Semenyo, but Liverpool beat Bournemouth anyway, with Federico Chiesa netting a late goal.
