Liverpool are back in contact training with the full squad at Melwood.

Premier League clubs were given the green light to resume contact sessions on Thursday last week after the latest round of Project Restart meetings.

The Reds are preparing to take on Everton in their first match back over the weekend on June 20 and 21 as coronavirus restrictions begin to ease after the pandemic broke out and lockdown was enforced.

It is no secret that the standard of play in Liverpool's training sessions is world-class when the seriously talented squad Jurgen Klopp has assembled are put through their paces.

And once again during the shooting session on Saturday that was no different with the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino linking up and slamming the ball home while Alisson Becker also made some sensational saves.

The Brazillian No.1 was on great form and actually caught a shot from Gini Wijnaldum while flying through the air, prompting the Dutchman to jokingly say Alisson had "disrespected" him to which the shot-stopper replied that he "already knew" where it was going.

Later in the same session after a flurry of saves, Alisson rolls back and looks at the camera to tell them he'd got "another clean sheet".

Firmino continues to bamboozle

The no-look move has become a trademark of Firmino's play at Liverpool.

And once again the Brazilian striker could be seen diverting the attention of a defender by looking one way while his feet did the opposite during a rondo.

Mohamed Salah and Dejan Lovren's bromance is well-documented and the lockdown has clearly not had any adverse effect on the love for one another the pair have.

They were the first to walk up to the training session together and as they got ready to go out onto the pitch they were joking around before Salah whipped off his shirt to show off his incredible physique while Lovren pointed, gestured and shrugged.

Jones looks sharp

Curtis Jones appeared to have made a serious step up in quality at Liverpool just before the lockdown came into force and it seems like he is picking up exactly where he left off.

The young attacker hit several efforts very sweetly into the back of the net and was linking up with the likes of Takumi Minamino in the box incredibly well.
