Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has said that he enjoys the club rivalry with his international colleagues.

Liverpool fans will hope that he is one of the Brazil squad with the bragging rights at the end of the campaign – along with Roberto Firmino and Fabinho.

The Brazil international is part of a Samba Boys squad that includes players from Premier League sides Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

“We play in the highest level in the Premier League, so keeping this high level of competition is key.” he added.

“This rivalry is important so everyone can grow, so it’s also important for the Brazilian national team.

And he feels that this “high level of competition” at domestic level is good for his international team-mates “When we’re on national duty we’re teammates, but obviously we talk.” he told Goal.

The former AS Roma number one admitted that discussions with his international colleagues can turn to who is going to win the Premier League title race, which is being keenly contested between some of the Brazil squad this season.
