Multiple Merseyrail train stations will be closed today (Sunday May 25), due to it being the final matchday of the Premier League season.
To help everyone travel safely, special timetables are in place, and some stations will be closed.
Train users are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time when travelling.Merseyrail recommends buying your tickets in advance at any staffed station to avoid queuing on the day.You can check station closures and timetable changes below.
In Liverpool City Centre, James Street and Lime Street underground low level stations will be closed all day.
However, the mainline station at Lime Street for national train services is open as normal.
On the Northern line, Bank Hall, Walton, and Cressington stations will be closed all day.

On the Wirral line, Capenhurst, Bromborough Rake, and Green Lane will be closed all day.
On the Southport line, services will run every 15 minutes from approximately 10am until 8pm, and every 30 minutes at all other times.
Some trains will be retimed.
On the Ormskirk and Hunts Cross lines, services will run every 30 minutes, with extra trains from 12pm until 4pm and 6.30pm until 9pm.
A normal 30 minute service will operate on all other lines.
