Jamie Carragher hopes Liverpool's Premier League title celebrations will sway Trent Alexander-Arnold's decision to stay at Anfield.

However, with his contract set to expire in the summer, he continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.

As reported by the ECHO back in March, Alexander-Arnold is continuing to consider whether to accept an offer from Real.

The La Liga giants also failed in a bid to sign the defender for a cut-price fee during the January transfer window.

Liverpool supporters have understandably reacted with mixed responses to the prospect of Alexander-Arnold heading to the Spanish capital, and ex-Reds defender Carragher, who made over 700 appearances for Liverpool, has offered his take on what the future could hold for his former club's talented defender.
