Levi Colwill is reportedly a target for Liverpool having enjoyed a sensational year out on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion. Yet despite his Chelsea background, the centre-back has seemingly always been a Red at heart.
With Liverpool on the hunt for a young centre-back this summer, Colwill has emerged as an obvious candidate for Jurgen Klopp’s side. However, the 20-year-old could be a hard player to recruit with Chelsea eager to keep hold of the defender for the new season.
The centre-back said back in 2021: “Growing up, it was always Steven Gerrard who I loved seeing and how he used to lead.

And for Colwill, the defender’s admiration for Gerrard could realistically lead to a move to Liverpool if Chelsea decides to cash in on the 20-year-old later on this summer.
