Andreas Pereira appears to have dropped a hint on Fulham teammate Rodrigo Muniz’s future amid links with a move to Serie A.
Leeds United have been strongly linked with Muniz over the summer, but having just announced the signing of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, it remains to be seen if the Whites will come back in for his signature.
Despite clearly remaining behind Raul Jimenez in Marco Silva’s pecking order, Fulham have knocked back a bid from Atalanta, understood to be in the region of £35million.

The 24-year-old has been at Cravent Cottage since joining in August 2021, and while he notched 11 goals in all competitions last season, just eight of his 31 Premier League appearances were starts.
However, with the Cottagers now preparing for their trip to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton on Saturday, 16 August, Pereira has shared a picture with his Brazilian compatriot on the journey.
Taking to Instagram stories (15 August), Pereira shared an image of the two on Fulham’s coach travelling down to the south coast, ready for their Premier League opener.

When players are the subject of such major bids from across Europe, they can often be left out of the squad by the manager, just in case they become distracted by the rumours.
This, however, does not appear to be the case for the Cottagers before they clash with the Seagulls.

Football Insider verdict
As of Wednesday, 13 August, Atalanta are confident in getting a deal done for the Brazilian striker, according to Fabrizio Romano, with the player keen on a move to Serie A.
That would be a hugely controversial move by the Premier League club, which could force Silva to rethink his future at Fulham, with very little business done at Craven Cottage this summer.
Benjamin Lecomte is the only arrival since the transfer window opened, and after finishing 11th in the league table last season, fans were expecting a number of changes over the last few weeks.
Man United’s Rasmus Hojlund is the latest target for Fulham, who could be a direct replacement for Muniz, but it remains to be seen if a deal will be agreed with the Red Devils.
Other than the backline, Silva’s side is looking rather weak and in need of reinforcements ahead of the new season kicking off, or even before the window shuts, but the club are leaving it very late.
Harry Wilson, Joshua King, and Jimenez have all looked bright during pre-season, but with surrounding clubs all making additions, the Cottagers risk falling behind in the upcoming campaign.
