Andy Robertson wants to follow in the footsteps of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk by signing a new contract at Liverpool.
Robertson has been at Liverpool since 2017 but is about to enter the final year of his current deal and knows his place in the side is under threat.
The Scotland international is still the first-choice left-back at the club, having held off a challenge from Kostas Tsimikas.
Despite helping his side secure a second Premier League title in five years, Robertson is well aware of his vulnerable status going into the off-season.
While Trent Alexander-Arnold appears likely to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, Salah and Van Dijk have signed new two-year contracts with Liverpool.
Robertson has made it clear that he would love to extend his stay at the club, if they will have him.

“I still believe I can still produce good performances and some really good performances and I think I have done that this season, so I still think I can produce at the top level and if I can do that then that is where I belong and hopefully I can stay here for many years to come.”
