Liverpool secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, with plenty of talking points emerging post-match.
Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman was stunned by Ryan Gravenberch after the Dutchman’s Man of the Match display in midfield helped keep Atletico Madrid at arm’s length for most of the game.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah broke two Liverpool Champions League records as he found the form that many were confused had been absent so far this season.
Alexander Isak made his Liverpool debut but was brought off for Hugo Ekitike after 58 minutes.

Speaking after full-time Andy Robertson spoke at length about how good Rio Ngumoha is and why so much faith is being put in the teenager.
Robertson said on TNT Sports: “He’s, he’s such a level-headed young lad as well, which is so nice to see.
He’s not scared to have a little bit of fire in training and things like that; that’s what you want.
“But you know, off the pitch he’s he’s so respectful to all of us and he wants to improve, and that’s what always ask for from the young lads.

“You always want them to be respectful but also want to improve and help the team, and I think he’s shown that, and he’ll show that the whole season.
You know, he’s a huge asset for us.
You seen that today.
“The manager trusts him in a big game like this to come on and try and make a difference for us.
“He’s got a huge future ahead of him, but, you know, the here and now looks not too bad as well.”
Ngumoha became the youngest player to make an appearance for Liverpool in the Champions League, aged just 17, and the young winger was excellent from the bench.
Conversely, the defenders he has come up against seem terrified to tackle him for fear of giving away a dangerous free kick or a penalty.
He was only on the pitch for 16 minutes, which is ironically the exact number of touches he took.

Ngumoha completed 83% of his passes, including a key pass as he once again wowed fans with his maturity and vision on the ball.
It’s incredible to see such a young player making such an impact at Liverpool.
