Andy Robertson has recalled how Diogo Jota enjoyed the "happiest day of his life" just weeks before his death - as he married his long-term partner in his native Portugal.
The 28-year-old was killed alongside his brother, Andre Silva, in the early hours of Thursday morning after being involved in a road traffic accident in the Zamora region of Spain.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 1am on Thursday morning, with the vehicle heading towards nearby Benavente.
Local reports have claimed the accident was the result of a blown-out tyre.
Since the news of Jota's passing was confirmed on Thursday morning, figures from around the world - including Jurgen Klopp and Cristiano Ronaldo - have paid tribute to the Liverpool forward.
