Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has hailed Caoimhin Kelleher as a "legend" after the Republic of Ireland international sealed a move to Brentford on Tuesday.
Following a decade of service at Anfield, the 26-year-old, who made a total of 67 appearances for the Reds after debuting in September 2019, made the decision to leave the club and pursue a career as a No.1.
Kelleher's move to Brentford could bring in £18million for Liverpool, with the goalkeeper completing the switch following Mark Flekken's £11m move to Bayer Leverkusen Across his six seasons with the first team, the Irishman helped Liverpool win the Champions League, Premier League, Super Cup, Club World Cup, FA Cup and two Carabao Cups.
And after news of his switch to West London was confirmed earlier this week, Robertson hailed the impact Kelleher had at Anfield since joining from Ringmahon Rangers in 2015.
