Andy Robertson has reportedly been placed at the very top of Atletico Madrid's left-back wish list.
The 31-year-old is in danger of being forced out of the Liverpool line-up next season as Anfield bosses push to sign Milos Kerkez.
And the opportunity to join a La Liga title-challenger has called Robertson's future into question.
The Scottish international is a veteran of well over 300 Liverpool appearances, picking up two Premier League titles, a Champions League crown and three domestic cups during his time on Merseyside.
He also appeared in 33 league games last season as Liverpool finished top of the pile in Arne Slot's debut year.

But Robertson's output tailed off dramatically.
Liverpool are said to value him highly and club bosses may put up some resistance before letting him leave, even with Kerkez edging towards a £45million switch.
Robertson is entering the final 12 months of his deal, making this the final transfer window in which Liverpool can realistically bank a fee by selling him.
Kieran Trippier enjoyed a resurgence with the Rojiblancos between 2019 and 2022, and Conor Gallagher has become a fan favourite since making the move last summer.
Ex-Manchester City star Julian Alvarez and former Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta were also part of the playing squad last season as Atletico finished third in La Liga, 12 points behind champions Barcelona and eight behind cross-city rivals Real Madrid.
