Ange Postecoglou is continuing to put his own stamp on the Nottingham Forest squad, by overturning a decision made by Nuno Espirito Santo.
Postecoglou replaced Nuno at Nottingham Forest after the latter was sacked after falling out with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 at Burnley to earn Postecoglou his first positive result at the club after defeats at Arsenal and Swansea.
Following a seventh-place finish in the Premier League table under Nuno last season, Nottingham Forest now begin their Europa League campaign with a trip to La Liga side Real Betis.

Postecoglou has pedigree in the Europa League after leading Spurs to the trophy last season, following a 1-0 victory over Man United in the final.
Before Postecoglou’s arrival, Nuno had named his squad for the competition’s league phase.
On loan Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko was left out of the Europa League squad, but Postecoglou has now reversed that decision due to an injury to Ola Aina.

As per The Telegraph’s John Percy on X, [23 September]: “Oleksandr Zinchenko has been added to Nottingham Forest’s Europa League squad, after the withdrawal of Ola Aina through injury.
“Zinchenko was signed on loan from Arsenal on deadline day and is eligible to play Forest’s group matches.“
The Ukrainian has started the past two matches for Nottingham Forest in Aina’s absence.
Aina suffered a hamstring injury on international duty and has not featured under Postecoglou so far.
Being able to add Zinchenko into the Europa League squad is vastly important, though the 28-year-old will face a heavy fixture schedule before Aina’s return.
Postecoglou will need to effectively manage the minutes of his squad in what is the club’s first European campaign since 1996.
