Liverpool are looking to build on their remarkable Premier League title win in Arne Slot’s debut season by bolstering their squad.

After a relatively quiet transfer window last summer, which saw only one new signing, expectations are high for a more active period this time around.

The Reds have made seen signings already following the arrival of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a major £79 million deal.

Jeremie Frimpong was the first to join Slot’s side after long-serving right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold completed his move to Real Madrid in early June.

Before goalkeepers Giorgi Mamardashvili, Armin Pecsi, Freddie Woodman, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez joined the Premier League champions, taking their spending above £250million this summer.

Liverpool are looking to make at least two more additions and have been heavily linked with Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.

While the men’s first team continues to strengthen, the women’s team are following suit and extending the contracts of key players.

Goalkeeper Faye Kirby has signed a new contract with the club.

The 21-year-old joined the Reds from Everton in September 2022 and has made five appearances for the senior team thus far.

She made her debut two months after joining in a League Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers.
