Armin Pecsi may have dropped a subtle hint over his move to Liverpool nearly 18 months before he completed his transfer to Merseyside.
The talented Hungary U21 goalkeeper became the Reds’ second signing of the summer last week, following Jeremie Frimpong as he signed for the Premier League champions from Puskas Akademia.
The 20-year-old is expected to initially play for Liverpool’s U21s side, while also gaining some valuable experience training alongside Alisson Becker and fellow new arrival Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Liverpool of course looks set to add further to its ranks this summer, with deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez looking like they’re well on the way.
