Talented Hungary U21 goalkeeper Armin Pecsi became the second Liverpool signing of the summer after the Netherlands wing-back Jeremie Frimpong when he signed from Puskas Akademia.
Liverpool.com understands that Pecsi will initially play for the Reds' U21s side, who are now searching for a new head coach after Barry Lewtas stepped down, while benefiting from training with Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili during the week.
The fee is understood to be up to around $2.0 million (£1.5 million).
And Pecsi has since outlined what Liverpool pitched to him before the transfer was completed.
"They see a long-term project that they outlined for me," Pecsi told the Hungarian national team's YouTube channel.
This was the first meeting, and everything will depend on the speed of my development."
Alisson has outlined, while on international duty, that he expects to be at Liverpool until at least 2027, at which point he could decide to return to Brazil to play for Internacional.
