Arne Slot claimed he was unable to hear the booing of Liverpool's guard of honour from Chelsea's fans as the head coach paid tribute to the away support at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
In the first game since they were officially declared Premier League champions last week, the Reds were given the traditional pre-match mark of respect by their hosts, but were roundly booed by the home ends in west London.
Slot, though, says he could only hear the travelling Kop to his left, throughout the 3-1 defeat and he praised those who made the journey given the travel disruption that affected people heading into London on the day.
"They (Chelsea fans) booed for their team?
"I didn't hear it to be honest, I only heard our fans during almost the whole game.

"I just heard that they couldn't come here with trains, so they had to go by car, but they were in time and they were loud throughout the whole game.
"So I haven't heard anyone booing.

"Paris Saint-Germain, an incredible game, maybe the best game of a season at home, where we dominated the second half, we were just waiting for us to score a goal, which we didn't.
"Then because the players got tired, I had to make quite a lot of substitutions.
"We were lucky to end up taking it to penalties and, talking about small margins, losing the penalty shoot-out.

"We all have quality players, Chelsea has them, (Manchester) City has them, Arsenal has them, (Aston) Villa has them, everyone else up there, we have so many in this week and we have them as well.
"But the margins are small, so that's why you have to work so hard every three days to get so many points on board, and that's what we did this season.
