Arne Slot believes Liverpool have "not so many reasons" to have a busy summer in the transfer window after Mohamed Salah committed his future to the club.
Salah, one of three Reds players who entered the final 12 months of their contract going into the current campaign, brought an end to months of speculation by penning a new two-year deal on Friday.
Virgil van Dijk is expected to follow suit in the coming days, although Liverpool are braced for Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving with the right-back pondering an offer from European Super League advocates Real Madrid.

Slot has praised the work of Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes in having successfully led negotiations with Salah and his representative Ramy Abass Issa.

But when asked about his relationship with Hughes ahead of what many expect to be a busy window, Slot said: "That last thing is something that you say!
"There's not so many reasons to make it a busy one because we are quite well placed in the league and we have only lost in the Champions League against an incredible side which we were better than for 90 minutes at our stadium, I will add that one more time.
"From the start, the moment he (Richard) came to me and talked to me about wanting to join Liverpool, we have a very good relationship.
Sometimes we have different opinions which is a good thing as well.
So expect him to be successful as well."
While new deals for Salah and Van Dijk will lessen the need for signings, Liverpool are still likely to see a number of arrivals during the close season.
At least one fresh face will be goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, with the Reds having agreed a £30million deal with Valencia last year to sign the Georgia international for next season.
Liverpool are preparing to update their left-back options with Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez a player of interest, while Slot has previously intimated a new number nine is being sought with doubts over the futures of several attackers including Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Luis Diaz.
The failed move for Martin Zubimendi last summer indicates Liverpool are still interested in bolstering their midfield strength in depth and should Alexander-Arnold depart, competition for Conor Bradley at right-back will be a consideration.
And Slot does not believe the injury records of Bradley and another right-back option, Joe Gomez, will affect his thinking if Alexander-Arnold leaves.
"It’s not fair on both because I think Conor only had this season one or two injuries," said the Reds boss.
"Joe has a bit more of a history of injuries but it is also very difficult for a player like him because he is in and out the team more than he might want himself.

"To keep those players fit is always more difficult than the ones that play almost every game.
"I don’t look at Conor as a player that can only play 20 games a season..
This season he had two injuries but he, as Joe, were not regular starters so I think we can only judge Conor on his fitness if he is good enough, which we expect he is, to become a regular starter for us."
