Arne Slot has failed to convince Marino Pusic to join as part of his coaching staff at Liverpool next season.
But the 52-year-old does not want to agree a backroom role on Merseyside.
Feyenoord boss Slot approached Pusic about joining Liverpool’s coaching staff with the 45-year-old expected to replace Jurgen Klopp this summer.
He is keen to stay on as the manager of the Ukrainian club.
