Liverpool have received a timely boost ahead of the new season as Alexis Mac Allister has returned to full training.
The midfielder sat out of the Reds' final games of last season against Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace after Arne Slot revealed that he had played through the latter part of the campaign with an injury and needed to make a complete recovery.
However, the 26-year-old's issue appeared that it was worse than first feared when he sat out of the Premier League champions' first games of pre-season against Preston North End and AC Milan.

Nevertheless, the Daily Mail reports that Mac Allister has made a full recovery and joined the rest of his team-mates in full training last week in Hong Kong.
Despite missing the 4-2 defeat to AC Milan at Kai Tak Sports Park Stadium on Saturday, Mac Allister was part of the Liverpool squad that travelled to Japan for the second leg of the pre-season tour over the weekend.

Fellow midfielder Wataru Endo is also likely to feature in his homeland having been ruled out of recent pre-season gamesd with illness.

The Reds are next in action on Wednesday when they face Yokohama FM in Tokoyo before returning to the United Kingdom for a double-header against Athletic Bilbao on Monday.

After that, Liverpool will travel to Wembley six days later to face Crystal Palace in the Community Shield at Wembley.
The Reds then begin their defence of the Premier League title against Bournemouth on Friday, August 15th, before fixtures against Newcastle and Arsenal before the end of the month.
