"Obviously I think we should make some signings based on how long the season will go," said Van Dijk, via Goal.
Slot has already provided a response to the call for transfer activity, telling journalists that there are moves in the works — but reiterating the difficulties of strengthening a strong squad.
"We are always looking if we can strengthen the squad but it is not so easy if you saw both games today," he insisted.
