Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend, with the clash against Burnley coming two days after the Reds confirmed their 24-man squad.

Top-flight clubs are required to submit squads of no more than 25 players following the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

Summer signings Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Freddie Woodman were all included in the squad list.

Giovanni Leoni and Armin Pecsi, who were both also signed this summer, were not included in the list but could still feature in the Premier League due to being Under-21 players.

The same rule also applies to the likes of Rio Ngumoha, Jayden Danns and Stefan Bajcetic, among others.

The squad list also saw three players handed different roles compared to last season.

Conor Bradley, Calvin Ramsay and Fabian Mrozek were all named in the 24-man squad submitted by Liverpool earlier this week.

Last season, the trio were listed as Under-21 players and so were not included in the official squad sent to the English top-flight.

This is because all three players were born in 2003, which is before the required threshold to qualify as an Under-21 player (January 1, 2004) this season.

As a result, all three players are named in Liverpool's official Premier League squad and are available to be called upon this season.

Bradley will be hoping to be awarded his first start of the campaign against Burnley, but will have competition at right-back from Frimpong.
