From the pre-season tour of the United States for the fledgling days under Arne Slot, through to one of Anfield's most famous days on Sunday, when the title was confirmed as theirs, the ECHO has been with Liverpool FC every step of the way during their historic league campaign of 2024/25.
The Reds have been the best team in the land under Slot this term and they will get their hands on the trophy after the final game, at home to Crystal Palace on May 25.
Liverpool have won 2-1 and a quickfire turnaround via goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah means they are now Premier League leaders.
As the Liverpool faithful continues to adjust to the more businesslike Slot, the three-minute salvo forces Brighton to wilt and it feels, for the first time, like the head coach experiences the full power of Anfield.
As team-mates and as friends, we are over the moon for him."
Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa leaves Liverpool six clear by the end of play and it feels like another sizable stride towards the title has been made.

ANFIELD, LIVERPOOL - FEBRUARY 26, 2025
The 51st minute ticks by on the Anfield scoreboard and this famous old venue is serenaded, for the first time this season, by Liverpool fans now firmly believing that the title is on its way.
As the news filters through of Arsenal's goalless draw with Nottingham Forest, with the score at 1-0 here against Newcastle United, Reds supporters, just like Arne Slot and Virgil van Dijk had called for ahead of kick-off, begin to turn the volume up.
"We're going to win the league!" they croon with conviction.
It's at this point that the party really begins.
Dominic Solanke scores a close-range header to give Tottenham a shock lead but no-one ever seriously contemplates any other outcome than this being the day when Liverpool are confirmed as Premier League champions.
Like December's 6-3 mauling, Slot's side are too strong for their opponents and a red blitz ensures they run out 5-1 victors in a game that is merely a prelude to the joyous main event that comes at full time.
