Liverpool target Sam Beukema has expressed his eagerness to join the Premier League, despite previously rejecting Arne Slot.

The Bologna defender has been linked a move to Merseyside this summer as the Reds' boss looks to strengthen his backline for their upcoming title challenge.

If Liverpool decides to go after Beukema in the transfer window, it would mark the second occasion that fellow Dutchman Slot has tried to sign him.



Slot reached out to him again after his decision was made, and they crossed paths once more earlier this season when Liverpool faced Beukema's current team Bologna in the Champions League.

Beukema has expressed his eagerness to prove himself in England, though he's not looking to hastily depart from his current squad.
