Liverpool have recruited smartly this summer and it is no surprise to see the type of players still linked with joining.
The Reds are closing in on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in a deal that will take their summer spending to well over £200m.
Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong are the three other notable signings made this transfer window, with more still expected to come.
All of these players, as well as those they are still targeting, possess similar traits and it is no surprise either given that Arne Slot has already told fans what he wants from Liverpool players back in February.
With a few more individuals linked as well, Slot appears to be keeping to his word as he aims to build a super team that is here to last.

Of course, to play at the very highest level, players need to be fairly well-rounded and capable of adapting to the game around them.
However, Slot believes that there are three traits in particular that if a player has, they are only set up to succeed, hence why he always looks for them when recruiting new stars for his team.
“It’s all about quality, that’s the first thing, but then what is quality,” Slot said in an interview with Sky Sports back in February.

“The first thing, what I think is very important for a player, is that he can change direction fast, work rate and then ability and quality on the ball.

“But if you don’t have quality on the ball then you can forget about playing here at Liverpool.
There are a lot of players who have quality on the ball but if they can’t turn quickly or are able to run a lot, then it is going to be really hard to play in the modern game at this level.”
It is evident that all of Liverpool’s new signings, as well as Ekitike, have these traits too, indicating that they are all very much players the Dutchman also wanted and believes could have a very big future at Anfield.
It is worth noting these characteristics for any player linked with Liverpool while Slot is in charge, suggesting that Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is very much a target this summer.
The Brazilian has agility in abundance, works hard, and is clearly good enough on the ball or else he would not have been a Madrid player, making him the ideal replacement for Luis Diaz.
The Colombian is open to a departure, and with Bayern Munich sniffing around while offering a decent amount of money, a sale just makes sense.
Rodrygo would be the ideal replacement and cost around £69m, making him not too much more than they would sell Diaz for.
