Liverpool are the Premier League champions once again.

That schedule begins at Chelsea on Sunday, where Liverpool are likely to be given the first of several guards of honour.

And here we look ahead to the changes Slot could make when his team are next in action.

Quansah on standby

Having not overly rotated his resources in the Premier League this campaign, with the title now in the bag there is definite scope for Slot giving an opportunity to fringe and younger players over the closing weeks.

That, though, is unlikely to come in goal, where Alisson Becker is the first choice ahead of Caoimhin Kelleher with Vitezslav Jaros next in line.

At left-back, Andy Robertson was given the nod at the weekend but will come under pressure from Kostas Tsimikas, who started the previous two matches.

But the time could now come for Wataru Endo to make his first Premier League start of the season.

Curtis Jones is another option in one of the two slots, and Dominik Szoboszlai is similarly capable of stepping back from the number 10 role.

The duo will compete with Harvey Elliott for that advanced midfield position, with Elliott also still waiting on his first top-flight start this campaign.

Tyler Morton wasn't involved with the under-21s last Friday, whereas both James McConnell and Trey Nyoni featured in the Premier League 2 play-off defeat at Manchester City.

None of the three, though, have played a minute in the Premier League under Slot.

Chiesa question

In attack, the time may well be approaching for Federico Chiesa to make his first Premier League start with the Italian needing one more appearance to be guaranteed a winners' medal.

However, it is unlikely to come at the expense of Mohamed Salah, who will perhaps now be chasing more goalscoring records over the final four games.

Darwin Nunez hasn't started since March with both the Uruguayan and Diogo Jota hoping to dislodge Luis Diaz from the central attacking role.
