Arne Slot has offered a fresh update on when he could officially be appointed Liverpool manager, admitting he is likely entering his ‘last week’ with Feyenoord.
Jurgen Klopp will leave the Reds this summer, and Liverpool have already agreed a deal with the Eredivisie club for Slot to succeed the German at Anfield.
However, his appointment is yet to be officially confirmed.

Liverpool and Feyenoord’s respective campaigns both come to an end on May 19, with the Dutch club’s second-place finish in the Eredivisie already confirmed.
Meanwhile, the Reds have qualified for next season’s Champions League and clinched a top-three finish, though they still mathematically remain in Premier League title contention.
Speaking ahead of his likely penultimate game as Feyenoord manager, Slot revealed he expects his move to Liverpool to be announced in a matter of days.
"I say almost every time: it will only be a matter of days,” he said.
“These kinds of things require a little more than just going to the store with a shopping list and checking off the groceries.
These are things that have to be timed the right way and everything has to be worked out.
That feeling may increase a little next week, because it could easily be the last week."
He continued: "I am much more concerned with the fact that we have to play against NEC and how we are going to play against them, and perhaps things in the further future.
