Arne Slot insists his Liverpool squad has plenty of options at centre-back, even if some of those players aren't specialists in the position.

His comments came ahead of Sunday's Community Shield against Crystal Palace, where Marc Guehi will be able to provide a reminder of what he could offer the Reds.

Liverpool have seen two bids for Guehi rejected and - for now at least - have no plans to return with a third.
