Liverpool have set their sights on Feyenoord coach Arne Slot as the successor to Jürgen Klopp this summer.

According to Dutch media outlet 1908.nl, “Feyenoord coach Arne Slot wants to discuss the concrete rapprochement from Liverpool.

“The successful coach of Feyenoord is very charmed by the Premier League club and the coach is cautiously pushing for a departure from Rotterdam.”

“The Dutchman recently had some discussions with Liverpool and was convinced.

“So convinced that his agent Rafaela Pimenta is now sitting down with Liverpool to discuss the most important contract details.

“More meetings are planned between Liverpool, Slot, and Pimenta in the coming days to finalize the deal personally?

The online portal also stated that Slot “does not have a buyout clause in his contract this year”, which means Feyenoord can negotiate however they want and if a deal gets off the ground, the entire Slot family will move to England.

Arne Slot’s profile soared following his accomplishment of guiding Feyenoord to their second Eredivisie title this century last season.

Last weekend, he further bolstered his accolades by securing the Dutch Cup.
