Liverpool made it four wins from four in yet more dramatic circumstances.
The Reds may have needed another last-gasp winner to save the day for them again, but they managed to claim all three points.

Arne Slot’s side dominated the game but failed to do much of note, with Mohamed Salah’s 95th minute penalty rescuing them from a disappointing draw away to a newly-promoted side.
Although they got the win, the Dutchman will, of course, be a little frustrated with his side yet again, especially as this performance was one of their worst.
However, despite this, there was something else that shocked him even more, with Salah’s penalty the only reason he was able to let it go.

The game was a very scrappy one, with the first-half a very forgettable one due to both teams’ lack of quality.
Saying that, the second-half was not much better, with there being lots of stoppages that meant play was broken up, something that Burnley would not have minded at all.
So, when the fourth official confirmed that there would be five added minutes, Slot was visibly enraged by that, with the Liverpool boss admitting he was far from pleased.

“I settled really badly because after 90 minutes when I saw how much added time there was, I was shocked.,” Slot told Sky Sports post-game.

“I was still shocked when we got the penalty, because five minutes of added time for me was unbelievable.
Shocked and then happy Mo scored the penalty.”
All can be forgiven now, though, as Liverpool got their desired outcome, although fans will have been left on the edges of their seats far longer than they would have liked.
The sign of Premier League champions is winning even when the chips are down, and the Reds have clearly proven their ability to do just that.
But relying four times on last-minute winners simply is not sustainable, and if they play like that against opponents who are expected to finish towards the top of the league, they will not always get away with it.
September sees them play another five games too across three different competitions, showing how this month could be pivotal.
They got the win, but now, Slot needs to find a way to get his team to be a lot more convincing if they are to retain their Premier League title.
