The Reds are currently sitting on top of the Premier League table with nine points to their name and look to be well on their way to retaining the title.

However, looking ahead to Liverpool’s next Premier League clash against Burnley, they should easily triumph over Scott Parker’s men, but if they do so, they’ll have to do it without one of their “complete” midfielders.

“Liverpool fitness news: Curtis Jones is not available for the game against Burnley after missing England camp through injury but the rest of the squad should be OK,” he wrote.

This is a tad worrying for Liverpool as, when Mac Allister or Jones haven’t been available, they’ve often struggled and ended up missing the creative spark that the duo bring to the table.
At the moment, it’s anyone’s guess what could happen, but for now, the main things on Slot’s mind will be beating Burnley on Sunday.
