It means Arne Slot is likely to finish his first season in charge in glorious fashion.

And yet the Reds boss and sporting director Richard Hughes are expected to embark on a summer recruitment drive that will see Liverpool's squad transformed with fresh blood.

But summer arrivals means there will be exits for some of Liverpool's likely league winners, with a number of squad players linked with moves away from Anfield.

And there's little reason for the Reds to move on one such player already long part of their squad.

Harvey Elliott has had a frustrating season having not yet made a Premier League start despite impressing during pre-season before an fractured foot suffered on international duty in September.

The fact he has not even started a Premier League match under Arne Slot is remarkable.

Yet despite having to feed off scraps, he has still made an impact when turned to, boasting four goals and two assists from 22 appearances.

If Liverpool were to let him leave prematurely, it could be a decision they live to regret.

No team wins the Premier League title without the contribution of their squad players.

And while Arne Slot has shown he is not a fan of large scale rotation, he will certainly know the value of those on the fringes.

Caoimhin Kelleher, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas and Darwin Nunez are not certain starters for Liverpool but all four have played their part in putting their club within touching distance of the league title.

He'd be difficult to replace and if he's willing, Endo should be given the opportunity to see out his contract through to 2027.

After an initial fitness problem at the beginning of the season, it has been a slow start for the Italian in terms of minutes on the pitch, making his first official start for the club in the Carabao Cup against West Ham.

Despite not getting as many minutes as hoped, when he has come on, he’s shown he can be a threat up front, providing two goals and two assists in the 12 games he’s been involved in, one of those goals being in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

The competition up front mixed with little change in weekly starting line-ups has seen Chiesa struggle for minutes, and his lack of game-time has subsequently stirred rumours of a move away this coming summer.

A move back to Serie A may be on the cards as Napoli have reportedly shown interest in the former Juventus player, as well as Roma and Inter Milan.

If he stays at Anfield, he may have increased competition up front with many rumours circulating about new signings over the summer transfer window for the Merseyside club.

Conversely, a return to Italy could offer more playing time for Chiesa and a chance at rediscovering his form in time to secure a place in the Euro 2028 squad for Italy.

There are mixed reactions from fans on the forward, many believing a move would be ideal for him, while others have urged Arne Slot to give him a chance to start they believe he has earned
