Arne Slot's Liverpool success will "open the gate" for other Dutch coaches according to Ruud Gullit.
Instead the perception was that, in the post-Klopp era, there would be a drop off but the team have instead raced to the Premier League title.
In doing so Slot has become just the fifth manager to win the English top flight in his first season with much of Liverpool's success being credited to their manager, who has worked entirely with the squad he inherited from the previous regime.

Gullit now believes Premier League owners will consider pursuing Dutch coaches, having previously overlooked them in favour of other countries, with Slot's triumph an endorsement for the nation.

The Holland great, who was speaking at the 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid said: "What he did unbelievably well was to get Gravenberch to play, when he was not playing for Klopp.
And that’s football as well – you need to do both.
