Conor Coady’s latest message on social media received plenty of support from across world football after a transfer was confirmed.
Coady had just 12 months remaining on his Leicester City contract following a disappointing campaign that ended in relegation from the Premier League.
It’s already been a busy summer at the King Power Stadium, with Marti Cifuentes confirmed as Leicester’s new manager and a number of changes expected both on and off the pitch.
With club legend Jamie Vardy having already departed, Coady was another player linked with a potential exit away from the club.
Football Insider exclusively reported on 31 July that newly-promoted Wrexham submitted a £2million bid for Coady, as they look to add leadership and know-how ahead of their first ever season in the Championship.
It appears the deal has progressed quickly, with the defender posting a heartfelt message on social media, prompting an outpouring of support from fellow professionals and fans alike.

On 1 August, Wrexham had announced that they have officially signed Coady from Leicester.
The 32-year-old centre-back took to Instagram following the announcement, sharing his excitement with supporters by stating he was “over the moon to be here” and that he hopes to “add to the success” the club has enjoyed in recent times.
His heartfelt message sparked a strong reaction across the football world.
Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, along with England teammate Jude Bellingham, were among those to like the post.

Several of Coady’s former Wolves teammates also responded, with Matt Doherty leaving fire emojis and Joao Moutinho commenting: “All the best”.
Football Insider had previously revealed in June that Rangers had made an enquiry to Leicester about Coady’s availability.
However, Wrexham moved swiftly to get the deal over the line.
With Coady now confirmed to have left Leicester, another player attracting interest is Bilal El Khannouss.
Leeds United are said to be turning their attention to the El Khannouss amid ongoing uncertainty over Brenden Aaronson’s ability to perform consistently in the Premier League.
Football Insider also reported that Nottingham Forest had previously been keen on El Khannouss, though that interest has gone quiet following Morgan Gibbs-White’s decision to sign a new deal, potentially clearing the path for Leeds to pursue a deal this summer.
