They will be without at least one crucial player against Liverpool.
The Gunners have won their first two games without conceding a goal, following up an opening-weekend victory at Manchester United with a 5-0 hammering of Leeds United last time out.
Speaking ahead of the match, Mikel Arteta confirmed that the former will definitely miss the Liverpool fixture due to a hamstring problem.

“Bukayo is doing better, but he will be out for a few weeks, unfortunately,” Arteta said on Friday.
“No surgery — it’s not as bad as the previous one.
So he will be out for a couple of weeks.”
On Odegaard, the prognosis sounds a lot more positive, and there appears to be a strong chance of the Arsenal captain being involved against the Reds.
“We don’t know yet,” Arteta said.
He’s doing everything he can, we’re doing everything that we can to make him available, but we’ll have to wait and see tomorrow.”
Arsenal could also be boosted by the return of two more players.
Liverpool remain interested in a deal for the Swede.
Meanwhile, Marc Guehi has been a player of interest all summer and Liverpool could still launch a last-minute deal for the Crystal Palace defender.
