Arsenal handed fresh injury blow amid Liverpool Premier League title battle

Arsenal have been dealt a major injury worry during their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest as Liverpool watch on.

After receiving treatment from the Arsenal medical staff, Odegaard chose to continue but was soon withdrawn from the contest.

The severity of the injury is still unknown, but it would not be the first fitness issue that Odegaard has suffered this term.



The midfielder made a late appearance as a substitute against Liverpool in the Premier League clash before the international break after recovering from a shoulder injury, reports football.london.

Despite being restricted to just 20 minutes against Liverpool, the Arsenal midfielder was still part of the Norway squad that featured in World Cup qualifiers during the international break.

If the Norway international is unavailable for any length of time it will be a major blow to the Gunners in the title battle with Liverpool.

The Reds are scheduled to face Burnley in their next Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
