Arsenal have reportedly begun concrete talks to sign one Liverpool target.

However, it appears Arsenal want to beat Liverpool to Sesko’s signing, if the latest report from Fabrizio Romano is to be believed.

According to the journalist, “Arsenal have started moving initial concrete talks for Benjamin Šeško deal.”

Romano also revealed that the player has always been high on Mikel Arteta’s shopping list.

The attraction of Sesko is his age profile combined with his acceptable goalscoring record.

The big forward has scored four goals in the Champions League this season and 21 in all competitions (45 appearances), plus six assists.

His combination of physical presence and technical ability is a rare commodity in the current No.

9 market.

It’s believed that Leipzig would want €100 million for their top talent.

However, we can instead reveal that the Bundesliga side may be willing to accept lower than that due to Sesko’s positive relationship with the club.

Sesko is on good terms with the German club’s leadership, especially after last summer’s surprise contract renewal until 2029.
