Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has tipped Liverpool as the team most likely to replicate the Gunners' unbeaten Premier League season.
Campbell was a key figure in the 2003/04 Arsenal side that went 38 games without defeat on their way to lifting the title.
Since then, several top-flight English teams have put together impressive runs, but none have managed to equal the unbeaten record set by the north London club.
Liverpool came closest, losing just once in the 2018/19 season, yet astonishingly didn't clinch the league title.
The current Liverpool squad, having recently secured the Premier League title with just four losses, has bolstered its ranks with over $260 million (£200m) worth of talent, including British-record signing Florian Wirtz.
The potential addition of Alexander Isak could further strengthen the squad, and Campbell believes Liverpool could challenge for an unbeaten season.
Speaking to BetSelect, he said: "Never say never.
If you look at the talent in that Liverpool squad now, it would be the most likely for me to go on to be the next Invincibles."
Meanwhile, Campbell has backed Arsenal to secure a fourth consecutive second-place finish, even after spending around $260 million (£200m) on new signings and finally securing a striker.
Campbell acknowledges that achieving the legendary unbeaten feat requires fortune to smile upon you, confessing to several close calls.
