Arsenal must accept an offer for Gabriel Jesus and complete the stunning signing of Eberechi Eze before the Premier League season starts.

The Gunners have had one of the best-ever transfer windows but it will go properly supernova if they add the Crystal Palace playmaker to an already tasty bunch of new arrivals.

They’ve gone large, bringing in a whole host of players as they look to go one step further and finally win a league title after three consecutive second place finishes.

High profile signing Viktor Gyokeres has stolen the headlines after he secured a reported £55million move to north London (Sky Sports), further pushing Gabriel Jesus down the pecking order.

The Swede arrives off the back of a 52-goal season in Portugal with Sporting CP and puts his name in conversation to be one of the best strikers in world football right now.

Mikel Arteta is also still on the hunt for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze who is proving a tricky player to land.

Football Insider revealed on on 30 July that Arsenal could miss out on signing Eberechi Eze as Palace are demanding his £68million release clause be met.

This comes after former scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 26 June that the Eagles were confident that they will keep their best players.

Oliver Glasner admitted that his side have not made a good start to the transfer window as he told he was promised more players (as per Sports Witness).

Lacking new recruitments suggests the south London side will not sell Eze unless there are guarantees a like-for-like replacement is promised by the club’s board.

From an Arsenal perspective, they may have to raise more funds to tempt Palace by meeting the release clause with Jesus being an obvious candidate to be sold.

The Brazilian has been working hard to get back on the pitch after his injury

Since joining the red half of north London in July 2022, the number nine has suffered a frustrating amount of injuries.

In his three seasons at the club, he has missed at least 16 matches every season including knee and, most recently a cruciate ligament tear.

These setbacks have limited him to just 26 goals in 96 matches, far off his deserved output based on his raw ability.

At 28-years-old and with two years left on his contract, selling the injury-prone forward must be considered by Arteta.

Bearing in mind the Gunners now have three strikers with Gyokeres and Kai Havertz, they could afford to lose the Brazilian.

His sale could bring in at least £28m or more based on his current market value, according to Sofascore.

Those funds could then be reinvested in Eze, fulfilling the release clause set by Palace and adding another weapon to the Arsenal attack.
