The international break is over and Arsenal fans can look forward to seeing their team back in action this weekend.

The Emirates faithful don't have to wait long either, as Mikel Arteta's side host Nottingham Forest at 12:30pm on Saturday.

Arsenal will come up against former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, who was appointed by Forest on Tuesday after the controversial sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.



The Gunners will be looking to bounce back from a painful 1-0 defeat at Anfield which leaves them three points behind Premier League title rivals Liverpool.

It's set to be a hectic few weeks for Arsenal, who have a midweek game scheduled for the next three weeks in various competitions.

The Gunners begin their Champions League campaign away to Athletic Bilbao next Thursday before hosting Manchester City on the Sunday.

Arsenal then make the journey to Port Vale in the Carabao Cup before a trip to St James' Park to face Newcastle four days later.
