Liverpool faced Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday as the English champions ticked off another game.
All eyes are on May 25th for the Reds, as they prepare to lift the Premier League trophy in front of their fans for the very first time.
In the meantime, there are still games to play, though, starting with a visit of the likely runners-up.
For months, Arsenal would have been circling Sunday’s trip to Anfield as a possible chance for them to do real damage to Liverpool’s title charge.
Instead, the Gunners visited Merseyside on the back of being confirmed trophy-less in midweek.
But despite Arsenal players’ disappointment at coming up short on all fronts yet again, goalkeeper David Raya showed his class with a brilliant gesture towards Reds’ counterpart Alisson Becker before the game.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Raya from making a really nice gesture towards Alisson on Sunday.
As spotted by journalist Ian Ladyman, the Spaniard made a point of going over to Alisson during the pre-match warm-up to congratulate him on winning the title.

At Anfield Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has just interrupted his practice to walk to the Kop end congratulate Alisson Becker on LFC title win,” noted Ladyman.
The rest of Raya’s teammates were at it shortly later, performing a guard of honour on the Anfield pitch for the Liverpool players.
This was not how it was supposed to go for Arsenal at Anfield this season.
They perhaps had designs on arriving on Merseyside as champions themselves.
Nevertheless, they did their duty and applauded the Liverpool players as they walked onto the pitch.
As seen at Chelsea last weekend it was not the most enthusiastic of claps from a number of players, however.
Myles Lewis-Skelly was notably lacking in movement throughout, and should perhaps question himself on why that was.
Raya was clapping heartily, though, as he showed himself to be a man of integrity.
