For his top standards, was unusually shaky on the ball and his wayward pass to Zubimendi nearly led to a Liverpool goal in the first half when the Gunners had the game under control.
Jurrien Timber - 6
Another very solid defensive display from Timber against the lively Cody Gakpo.
Led the defensive line well yet again and Mikel Arteta will need him to stay fit considering Saliba's injury.
Riccardo Calafiori - 7
Arguably his best defensive display in an Arsenal shirt and kept Mohamed Salah quiet throughout the match.
But his presence gave the Gunners control in the middle of the pitch, albeit it meant they missed some creativity from the likes of Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze.

Had the chance on the counter-attack early on but failed to look up and find Viktor Gyokeres running in behind the Liverpool defence.
