Viktor Gyokeres has stood by his and Alexander Isak's tactics for securing summer transfers.

The Arsenal striker went on strike at Sporting before securing his Emirates switch, whilst Isak declared he would never play for Newcastle again as he pushed for a Liverpool move.

"When it is a player who is not wanted in that club I think it's the total opposite, He doesn't have any power, the club can literally do whatever they want with the player.

It's difficult but it's how the situation is."

Despite a turbulent conclusion to his Newcastle career, Isak delivered a heartfelt farewell message to the club.
