Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly appeared to opt against clapping during a guard of honour for Liverpool's Premier League title win before Sunday's game at Anfield.

As is customary, the newly crowned top-flight winners are honoured after they are confirmed as champions.

The guard of honour is not compulsory, but it very rarely does not happen once a team wins the league title.

Second-placed Arsenal carried out this gesture before their clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

However, Gunners full-back Myles-Skelly appeared to be less than impressed.

Unlike his teammates, the 18-year-old appared to choose not to clap the Liverpool players onto the pitch.

However, the Spaniard stood by his claims after the second leg against PSG that Arsenal have been the best team in the Champions League this season.

"One hundred per cent," he added.

"I'm watching it back, I'm watching all the statistics.

"And when you look at the important stats that normally give you the best platform to win football matches, it is crystal clear who was better.

"But it is not about the winning probability, or what you've managed, it is actually about making it happen and making it count."
